Policies
All policies have been created and placed for the safety and well being of pets and people. They are non-negotiable. If you have any questions about them, don't hesitate to reach out!
Appointments
Booking
- You can book via text or call, online, or by messaging me on Facebook
- I do not require a deposit to book at this time
- Appointments are available first come first serve, I will only hold offered appointments for 24 hours pending confirmation
- I do not take walk ins at this time
Prices and Quotes
- General prices are subject to change at any time without warning
- Quotes given and prices listed on this site are NOT guaranteed final prices and may be adjusted at any time during check in or service
- I reserve the right to add charges at any point during the check in or service to accommodate for: fleas, matting, behavior, etc.
Cancellations and No Shows
- NEW: I do require 24 hours notice to cancel any appointment, and reserve the right to charge a fee for any appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice
- NEW: I reserve the right to charge a fee for any pet who does not show up to their appointment
- Consistent no shows or last minute cancelations may result in same day booking only OR a deposit requirement
Drop Off and Pick Up
Due to limited space, and so i can provide each pet with one-on-one care in a timely manner, all pets need to be dropped off on time and picked up in a timely manner
- Pets more than 15 minutes late may be rescheduled or, if I can still accommodate them, charged a late fee
- Pets who are not picked up in the timeframe agreed upon may be charged an additional fee and subject to any fees that may occur due to accidents in the kennel
Health and Safety
Vaccines - Rabies
-All pets over 4 months of age must be vaccinated against rabies
- Paper proof from the veterinarian must be provided at the first service
- I cannot accept tags, hand written papers, illegible papers, or papers that are not in english
Vaccines - Other
-I do not require any other vaccines at this time but strongly urge all pets be vaccinated against parvo and distemper
-Pets showing any symptoms of possible contagious illness will be referred to a vet for care
General Health
-Pets must be in good health to be groomed
-I cannot accept any pets showing any signs of illness: fever, lethargy, coughing, eye/nose/ear discharge, vomiting, diarrhea, or skin lesions
-Pets cannot have sutures, staples, or wound glue and must be cleared by a vet following surgery/injury
-Female dogs must not be in heat, nursing, or pregnant
Medical Conditions
Pets with the following medical conditions will be referred to a vet for grooming services:
- Seizures
- Neurological disorders
- Heart Failure
- Extreme parasite infestation
- Morbid obesity
- Extreme emaciation
- Open wounds, lesions, or abcsess
- Symptoms of illness or disease
- Obvious wounds
Parasites
-Pets with fleas will be treated with shampoo at the owners expense, no exceptions, or will be referred to a vet for care
-Extreme infestations will be referred to a vet for care
-Pets with internal parasites or who show signs such as lethargy, vomiting, bloody stool will be referred to a vet for treatment
Medications
-Please disclose any medications your pet is on so I may monitor them closely
-Certain medications may mimic health emergencies or cause unpredictable behaviors, in which case i will refer the pet to a vet for care

Sedation
-I do not groom pets who have been heavily sedated by ANY means (over the counter OR vet prescribed) as heavy sedation may affect their behavior and health negatively
-I reserve the right to refer any pet i believe is behaving erratically to a vet for service
-I am not liable for any injury or emergency caused by the use of sedation, disclosed or otherwise
Age
-Puppies will be groomed on a case by case and step by step basis, and will NOT ever be de-matted... FULL grooms are not guaranteed
-Aged or senior pets will be evaluated upon check in to make sure they can handle the grooming process
-I reserve the right to refer ANY pet to a vet for ANY reason and do not guarantee services on puppies or elderly pets
Behavior
While i am happy to work with pets who need a little extra assurance or care, I must be able to safely handle ALL pets without a muzzle and without assistance in the event of an emergency
I cannot at this time accept pets who alligator roll, refuse to stand, or who are unpredictable and dangerous to myself or others in the building
